November 13-19 is Trans Awareness Week, leading up to November 20’s Transgender Day of Remembrance. This year, we released a short video recommending a transgender focused manga each day of the week leading up to TDOR, for which we streamed a short memorial where we talked about the horrible year transgender people have faced this years and how many we’ve lost. At least 375 transgender lives were taken, no doubt more as many go unreported or remained in the closet.
In this post, we’re sharing each of the videos we put out across these eight days.
