Welcome back once again to Girls Love Roundup! where we take a look at localized GL releases and announcements having happened in the past month. It may be April 1st when we’re recording this but this list is as serious as always. So let’s get into it!
Book Localization – New Announcements
We have a couple of book announcements from Seven Seas, starting with the manga Sheep Princess in Wolf’s Clothing by Mito. In this story we see the romance blossom between the female wolf butler Aki and the sheep princess Momo.
For fans of autobiographical manga, there’s the newest book by Kabi Nagata, the author of My Lesbian Experience With Loneliness, titled My Pancreas Broke, But My Life Got Better. Her aforementioned debut book is also getting a fancy new hardcover edition with an additional chapter. All three books mentioned here will be released in November.
Book Localization – New Releases
For released books we have quite a selection for March. Starting with our personal recommendation of the month, Asumi-chan is Interested in Lesbian Brothels! by Itsuki Kuro. It’s the story of a lesbian college student who finds herself exploring the world of sex workers in hopes of finding her teenage crush who she believes works as a prostitute. It’s a funny and charming book about sex positivity and the legitimacy of sex work when done right. The second volume was just released in English by Seven Seas and we can’t recommend it enough.
Seven Seas also put out the third volume of the Thai comic series PULSE by Satis Ratana, the fourth and final volume of Doughnuts Under a Crescent Moon by Usui Shio.
From Little, Brown & Company we have two new releases. Kiniro Mosaic: Best Wishes by Hara Yui, which is the post-graduation story for the girls in the Kiniro Mosaic series, and the second volume of She Loves to Cook, and She Loves to Eat by Yuzaki Sakaomi. We highly recommend the latter as it’s not only an excellent series but the author is an active champion of queer rights.
Viz Media has put out the eight volume of How Do We Relationship? by Tamifull and Tokyopop released the twelfth volume of Konohana Kitan by Amano Sakuya. All in all a strong collection of releases for March.
Game Localization – New Releases
We also have two game releases to talk about this month. First off the 2015 Nitroplus developed visual novel Tokyo NECRO released in English on March 13th and while it’s not a Girls Love focused game, it does co-star a lesbian lead, which made us want to mention it.
There’s also Girl’s Blossom Project, the 2022 april fools game developed for the BanG Dream! media franchise which was released in English and will be available for free throughout all of April on the game’s official website. The game is a short romance visual novel where you play as Himari and try to get with several of the girls of the BanG Dream! series. There’s a link in the description if you want to play that.
